URL Formatting

I installed the base demo of the Woodmart theme and everything is working smoothly, but now the URL is setup differently. Instead of pages being https://itsawrapva.com/about/
They now come up as https://itsawrapva.com/index.php/about/. The index.php for some reason has been added to all the links on my site. I was wondering if this is normal after installing the demo content, and if there was any way to fix this issue.
