morrellcreativeParticipantHi,
Been going backwards and forwards with this with woocommerce and the makers of a plug-in and looks like issue is with the themes varaiable.php fileAn example of this is:
https://www.philmorrell.co.uk/shop/hardware/button-head-a2-stainless-steel-6-lobe-pin-self-tapper/Wooceomerce created their own variable.php file which solved the problem but not all the settings came through from your theme.
Here is what a plug-in maker has said:
Actually, the problem is on this particular product (maybe there are others) and the template variable.php from Woodmart theme. What WooCommerce support did was use the original WooCommerce variable.php template.
However, despite this template loads the product correctly, this template lacks some features necessary for Woodmart to work properly. Therefore, if you use the original WooCommerce variable.php template, the “Add to quote” button doesn’t work properly.Hope you can help with this one – slightly stressed out on a solution here!

Artem TemosKeymasterHi,
Sorry, but we don’t understand what problem you are talking about. Your site is under maintenance mode so we can’t see it. Please, provide us with some screenshots and admin access.

morrellcreativeParticipantyes, thats the issue im having. Some products have this and some dont. Something to do with the variable.php from what i sent in the first email

Artem TemosKeymasterThe white screen appears when you have some PHP error but it is not displayed on the screen. Try to enable debug mode and error reporting on your server or check your logs. We need to see this PHP error to understand what is wrong.

Artem TemosKeymasterYou need to contact your host for help because the error is still not displayed.
September 20, 2018 at 11:14 am #78146
morrellcreativeParticipantis to turn on the de-bug mode? Do I just ask them to turn on de-bug mode?
September 20, 2018 at 11:15 am #78148
Artem TemosKeymasterYou need to ask them to check what the PHP error is there.
September 20, 2018 at 11:49 am #78171
morrellcreativeParticipantwhat .php error – im sorry, is debug on?!? or are you saying theres no issue and the error for the shite screen is due to the hosting?
September 20, 2018 at 11:51 am #78175
Artem TemosKeymasterA white screen appears in situations with PHP Fatal Error. Currently, the error is not displayed and it may be because of your server configuration. It is also possible that this error is written into your server logs. We don’t know. Only your hoster may answer you about this question. Once we will know the error, we will tell you how to resolve it.

morrellcreativeParticipantHi,
The hosting company says theres no errors coming through.Like I said, the guys at woocomerce did get it working and the file is still in there but no all the theme atriicutes came through. Is there nothing in there that can help at looking at their file?

Artem TemosKeymasterStrange, could you please provide us your admin and FTP access so we can check everything? And specify which plugin it conflicts with.
September 20, 2018 at 4:49 pm #78239
morrellcreativeParticipantthanks for looking at this. details in private.
Yes, its very strange – its been going on for a long time.
I’m not actually sure its conflicting with a plug-in as on the product i shown you theres no plug-n being used.
I’ve had the plug-in makers and hosting look at this but cant seem to find a solution.
fingers crossed you can find the problem

September 20, 2018 at 5:29 pm #78244
Artem TemosKeymasterPlease, disable all external plugins that are not related to our theme and send us also the path to WordPress installation on the server. There are a lot of folders there.

morrellcreativeParticipantHi,
See below in what the guys at woocommerce did to make the products work again. Are you able to adapt this into the theme variable.php? This may just do it. I went back at some old support tickets and found what they did.Hope this helps!

Artem TemosKeymasterSend us also the path to WordPress installation on the server. There are a lot of folders there. And disable all plugins that are not related to our theme.

morrellcreativeParticipanthi – i think this has now been resolved. A friend of mine is a developer and has taken a look and appears to have fixed it which is a relief.
Thanks for the support on this over the last few days. Just glad to see the end of the issue now.
