Variable product prices duplicated after updating to Woodmart 8.4.1

    Hello,

    after updating Woodmart from 8.3.9 to 8.4.1, variable product prices are displayed multiple times.

    Issue details:

    * WooCommerce version: 10.7.0
    * WordPress version: 7.0
    * Woodmart Core active
    * PHP 8.3
    * Problem only appears after updating to Woodmart 8.4.1
    * Reverting to 8.3.9 fixes the issue immediately

    The duplicated prices appear:

    * on variable product pages
    * inside product loops/product cards
    * after selecting variations

    Screenshots attached.

    It looks like the variable price hook/output is rendered multiple times in Woodmart 8.4.1.

    Could you please check if this is a known compatibility issue with WooCommerce 10.7 or Woodmart Core?

    Hello,

    Please deactivate all the 3rd party plugins and activate only theme-required plugins on the site and then check the issue. I am sure your issue will be solved. Then, activate the 3rd party plugins one by one and check which plugin is creating the issue for you.

    Otherwise, if the issue still exists then keep the 3rd party plugins deactivated and share the WP admin login details of your site so I will check and give you a possible solution.

    Hello Aizaz,

    I found the cause of the issue.
    If I deactivate WooCommerce Germanized, the error no longer occurs.

    However, WooCommerce Germanized is essential for operating a WooCommerce store legally in Germany, so disabling it is not an option.

    Woodmart is advertised as fully compatible with WooCommerce, but currently this compatibility seems to be broken in combination with WooCommerce Germanized.

    I also tested older versions of WooCommerce Germanized, and the issue still exists there.
    Therefore, the problem was not caused by a WooCommerce Germanized update.

    The error only started occurring after updating the Woodmart theme.

    For this reason, I kindly ask you to investigate and fix the issue — either in the next Woodmart update or directly on my website via admin access if needed.

    I would also like to mention that I have been very satisfied with the XTemos support so far, which is why I am also planning to renew my support extension soon.

    You can apply it in Dashboard -> WoodMart -> Patches.

    Hello,

    the patch 712160 did not fix that as you can see in my screenshots. I tried it already in the past and i tried all patches today. The error is still there. I thinkt the problem is that the patch was only for single products and not for varialbe products.

    Some times it is not instand. But after serval sec. or when you klick on a variation the error appears. This might be the reason why it is first not visible wenn you clear the cache.

    Try to clear the cache in your browser as well. If that doesn’t help, please send us some video and direct link where we can see the issue now.

    I clear the cache in my browsers as well and i even tried on two pcs and two phones (android and ios). Still the same. As you will see in the video sometime it instant visible sometime you have to klick on refresh or wait a bit longer.
    As you can see from the cookie banner, I cleared the cache, and I demonstrate that in the other video as well. Unfortunately, the video where I have to click “Refresh” is larger than 4 MB. How can I share it with you? It’s 13 MB or is this enough info?

    Do you have CDN on your website? Could you please temporarily turn it off completely so we can be sure that you don’t have a different version of the JS file loaded?

    I turned off the CDN as you suggested and cleared the cache everywhere—both in the browser and on the site. I’ve also briefly put the site back online for easier testing.
    Unfortunately, we’re now facing different issues. Ultimately, exactly two prices must always be displayed, just as they were before and as shown in the latest screenshot of the product view.

    But it doesn’t look that way in the preview yet. Depending on the browser, either only one price is displayed, or the unit (€/kg) is missing from the second price.

    The price display must look exactly like it does in the last two photos!
    Even before you click on one of the products.

    You can also send me a screenshot, and then I can tell you what has changed since the update to 8.4.1.

    Thanks for the Video. This is how it should look like and also how it is now on all Browsers and devices I testet.

    However in the overview of different products (one step back, see url below) it still doesn‘t look like this. It should be the same as in the Video you send me. One total price (€) and one price per kg. (€/kg) And if no Variation is selected: one total price range (€) and one price range per kg (€/kg)

    We misunderstood each other. This isn’t about the individual product pages, but rather the page that lists all products (see link). There, you can already select variants and add them to the cart without going to the product page. The prices displayed for all products with variants are incorrect here. The red text shows where prices are missing, for example In the Screenshot

    Hi, thanks again for the video.
    As you can see in the screenshot I just sent, it sometimes looks like that for me, too. Sometimes two prices appear, but neither includes the €/kg.

    But you can see the difference between the two videos you sent me, right?

    The first video you sent is exactly right. The second one from earlier isn’t. In that one, the second price in €/kg is missing.

    Can you fix that?

    The first video is from the single product page which displays two prices. And the second video is from the shop page which has only one price (which is exactly the same price you see on the product page on the first place). And they work the same.

    Thanks, I understand.

    First things first. As long as the price is displayed on the shop page (as a single price), I’m not allowed to operate the shop in Germany or the EU.
    In the section where you can add the product to the cart (“Quick Shop”), the price must also be listed in €/kg.
    You had already resolved this issue and sent me a fix for it. (See my resolved topic, “Bug in product view and preview for variable products with different quantities”)
    However, since a Woodmart update, the error has returned.

    Even though the issue where prices 6–8 appeared one after another has now been fixed, I can’t leave it like this.

    I risk being sued every day for this (missing price on the shop page in €/kg). The theme is no longer compatible with WooCommerce Germanized in its current state.

    The price displayed in the store and on the product page (both videos) must be exactly the same. The product page shows how it should be done.

    Please help me fix the error. Here is the shortcode that provided the solution back then:

    Thank you for your reply.

    During my own investigation, I noticed that WooCommerce Germanized still outputs the unit price information in the product loop HTML. However, the unit price (€/kg) is not displayed correctly in the shop/archive pages, while it works correctly on the single product page.

    I will temporarily disable all non-essential plugins for your testing. WooCommerce and WooCommerce Germanized will remain active, as the issue is directly related to the interaction between these plugins and the WoodMart theme.

    Thank you so much for your help!!
    Everything is now working exactly as it should again.
    I’ve tested it with various browsers on different devices (including mobile).

    I also noticed that you’ve included it in the new 8.5.1 update. It works as expected with the update as well.

    The only question I still have is whether I still need the shortcode (CSS and JS)?

    I’ll deactivate the temporary accounts now.
