pikslpikslParticipantHello,
I have a problem. We got a few notes from our customers, that when you want to choose the color on a variable product and then add the product to cart it gives you a note (please make a selection etc.). So you cant add the product to cart.NOTE: sometimes it is ok, and sometimes it does not work. (most of the time it doesn’t). When it does not work, you see that when you select a color it does not underline it.
We tried to deactivate plugins, but the issue did not go away.
All of the products have SKU-s, have their own prices. Everything is like it should be.
You can choose any variable product from the link.NOTE: we have built the site from bakery to elementor. So the sites are new, but the content is old.

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Please check your variable product with the problem. In most cases, the variations are based on both color and size, in this case, one can add the product into the cart only having selected both color and size. This is the Woocommerce feature and our theme does not influence.
Best Regards

pikslpikslParticipantThats not the case. There is one variable, thats color. Please take a min. and test the problem. If it workds try another one till it does not work anymore. Like i sayd. Its not a plugin issue, and it is not a feature issue. The settings are like they are suppost to.
Thank you.

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Please provide two products where it works and where it does not and provide your site admin access to the private area.
Best Regards
December 8, 2020 at 8:01 am #248800
pikslpikslParticipantI cant give you products that work and do not work, because its not a singular problem but accuring one. Note that sometimes it works and sometimes not. But the problem is variable products.
Thank you.

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Make sure all the variations have the image, price and stock.
Best Regards
December 8, 2020 at 3:14 pm #248925
pikslpikslParticipantEvery product has his own images, price etc. we are not doing this for the first time so pleas inspect furder. I have done your job and inspect it with the console. In the picture you can see an error. I think there is something wrong with the slider.
So another thing I noticed is that when I choose a color id does not change all the photos to the variable photos. Just the first one. That is odd, and maybe is it related to my problem. Please check the problem.
NOTE: the single product page is build in the elementor pro single product tamplate.

pikslpikslParticipantUPDATE: Left (vertical position) is cousing the issue. I will temporary switch it to Bottom (horizontal carousel). Im kindly asking you, if you can fix the issue. Thank you.

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Our dev team has checked more than 15 variable products in different configurations of the gallery and has not сaught any errors in the cart adding.
Best Regards
December 9, 2020 at 9:34 am #249132
pikslpikslParticipantThat is because I switched from Left (vertical position) to Bottom (horizontal carousel)!
PLEASE read the messages…. I wrote you the problem in detail.Let’s recap one more time; When I have activated the Left (vertical position) carousel on the single product page, the attribute switches do not work.
This error happens when the LEFT VERTICAL CAROUSEL is activated.
WHEN YOUR DEV-s WERE LOOKING THEY WERE LOOKING AT THE BOTTOM CAROUSEL THAT I HAVE ACTIVATED IN THE MEANTIME SO THAT WE DONT LOSE ALL OUR COSTUMERS.
So I kindly ask to do this:
Pleas go on the admin pannel and in the:Theme settings / PRODUCT PAGE / Images / Thumbnails position
ENABLE:
Left (vertical position)
Then kindly check the attributes on different products until you get the error. (It should be all of them).
Thank you for your support.

pikslpikslParticipantI tested that on 3 computers. On two laptops and one stationary.
On the laptops there was an error. On the stationary device all works fine.
All have windows 10 operating system. All have crome browser.Added the flow on my laptop.(check the image)
I have deactivated all plugins, and deleted all costimizations but the issue stays the same.

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
We have tested with the vertical gallery as well as we tested last time the product is added to the cart, here is the video of the testing: https://gyazo.com/0bb267a03f3163b5919e8b5bb9d6ea49 all the plugins and customization were active while the testing.
Best Regards

pikslpikslParticipantLook, I know that it’s hard to fix something that you don’t see, and I know that you guys have a lot on your plate. I understand that. But understand that we have to fix the problem as we are living from this site. + It’s top of the session for us. So you see why it’s urgent to fix this problem.
As I said, the problem keeps occurring… if the time you tested was successful or not. I have multiple reports from customers, hotjat snaps that show customers having trouble adding to cart and leaving the site and on two of our computers showing the error and the console showing the error code.
I’ve narrow it down to the carousel and tested all plugins and modifications for the cause. The only plugins left were Elementor, Elementor Pro, Woocomerce, and Woodmart core.
So I’ve done really all I can to make to help with resolving the problem. Now it’s your turn as the error seems to be theme related.
Tell me what else can I provide you so that you can debug the problem?
Maybe: When I wanted to error to occur, I went through multiple variable products and refreshed the page multiple times. It seems that when I went on a fresh site, the error was there. But when I refreshed the same site, the error was gone.
+ We have the code that the console displays. Cant, you debug with that?

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
We would be very glad to help you and fix the problem.
Currently, we see the following JS error only https://prnt.sc/vzjc8i
And it is caused by the custom code or plugin that generated this code https://prnt.sc/vzjcfvYou can also can send us your console screenshot when the error occurs. We are pretty sure that the issue is related to some of the installed plugins.
Also, try to update our theme to the latest version.
And if you are not able to keep all plugins disabled, we suggest you to create a staging clone of your website where you can perform such experiments.
Kind Regards

pikslpikslParticipantI see that in your case bottom carousel is activated not the left vertical position carousel. The error that I am trying to solve occurs when the left carousel – Left (vertical position) is activated.
When I tested for plugin error I disabled all plugins and left the essential plugins. The site doesn’t work if I disable any of these plugins:
Elementor, Elementor Pro, Woocomerce, and Woodmart core.So I deactivated all but this and the error is still there.
The code of the error is:Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘slickGoTo’ of undefined
at n.fn.init.a.fn.slick (slick.min.js?ver=5.3.4:2)
at HTMLFormElement.<anonymous> (functions.js?ver=5.3.4:5018)

Artem TemosKeymasterPlease, keep all plugins disabled for 5-10 minutes so we can test. According to your screenshot, you didn’t disable plugins since some messages from third-party code were there.
December 10, 2020 at 10:20 am #249550
pikslpikslParticipantOk, I have disabled all the plugins.
Im leaving the site on maintaince until 11:35 (GMT+1)December 10, 2020 at 10:38 am #249553
Artem TemosKeymasterThe problem is caused by the Elementor sticky option. It duplicates the whole images section and breaks other JS functions. You need to disable this option to make it work with vertical carousel https://gyazo.com/6bb3ed7c6bea798f3c6cc4440fcb7165

I really appreciate your efforts!
Stay safe and best regards, Vid.
