Variable products with colour swatches – Image size

Ive found an issue with the product preview on any product with a colour variation.
If you preview the product and choose a colour swatch the image increases in size and then sticks there. This does not happen on your demo site but it does on mine.

what is going on with it.. is it a setting?

Variable product bottom left… please advise as its messing up all the site?

Please deactivate all the plugins not related to the theme and switch the parent theme, check the issue, If the problem has gone, activate the plugins one by one, checking the issue to detect which one causes the problem.

if the problem remains, even after the plugins deactivated, please, provide your site admin access to the private area.

Please confirm the permit for us to deactivate the plugins not related to the theme and switch to the parent theme for the while of checking what may take up to 15 minutes.

Ive deactivated all the plugins and the issue still remains. This is a demo install so feel free to make any changed/deactivations you see fit. The only way I can fix this is to use square aspect ratio images but this is not a solution. It also causes an issue with the variational gallery.. the same issue with a larger image on the thumbs.( see attached )
where as when you select a colour variation the gallery thumbnail also increases in hight just like the shopfront…

Please clarify the problem: do you have the problem with switching the image by clicking on variation or problem in the product grid?

The images on the product page change as per your settings: you have uploaded a ping chair for the black color, you need to upload a black color chair for the black color or create pink attribute item in the color attribute https://gyazo.com/971022fa32845e3bdd85497cf5ad96dc

As for the shop page: https://prnt.sc/10a6fu7 increase this value to 800 and check. You can find this option in Appearance > Customize > Woocommerce > Product image.
