Variable products wrong price picked up by google
-
Hello,
I have noticed that google adwords/analytics/remarketing ads through google feed options pickup correct price on variable child products (variants) but google reports wrong price found when they index a child product like this:
https://www.arctic-fritid.no/produkt/royking/tilbehor-til-royking/hobbyroykeriet-normann/?attribute_produkt=R%C3%B8ykhus+m%2Fr%C3%B8ykutvikler
They pickup the main product price 3990 and not the variant price 4485. I have not seen this issue with other themes.

Hello,
Our theme does not influence on your Google AdWords configuration. This is the issue of the content.
Best Regards
Well, this is NOT about any configuration, it is all about what google finds when they visit the actual page. When google visite my attribute page they register the given price as 3990 which is wrong, correct for that attribute is 4485.
So waht google see when they visit/index you product page has nothing to do with adwords configuration BUT what they see on the product page.
Do you support schemaorg/microdata ? If so, in which file can i find that?

Hello,
Microdata is a part of the WooCommerce plugin and formed by their code. Our theme doesn’t influence the way it works. You can check the code in the file woocommerce/includes/class-wc-structured-data.php
Kind Regards
Hello,
Yes, we figured it out. This is an issue with WC and they had no fix in their plans for this. There was a fix built into my previous theme so thats why i have not noticed it before.
