Variation image gallery not showing correctly

Hi I have added additional gallery images however they do not show the same as the main image gallery.

When I select a colour option it changes to listing all of the images rather than having the slider gallery underneath the main image being displayed.

Please help resolve this.

Please, provide your site admin access (insert the site credentials into the Private content block under the message area) and confirm the permission for plugins deactivation, switching to the parent. This testing may take up to 15 minutes. You would better make the full backup of your site.

This plugin causes the conflict: WooCommerce Additional Variation Images as soon as you deactivate it, everything works perfectly.

Thanks for your response, I really appreciate it.

The purpose of that plugin is to upload and display additional variation images. When I disable the plugin it only shows one variation image when a variation is selected when there are additional images for each colour variation uploaded.

The plugin is an official Woocommerce plugin as found here: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-additional-variation-images/

They said that there may be an issue with the way the lightbox/slider is implemented and that it is due to the theme.

Do you mean showing the gallery for each variation? This option has been provided by WoodMart, you will find the option to upload the main variation image and gallery. The color swatches may take the images from variations, please check this manual: https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/variable-products-swatches/

I don’t think you quite understand the issue.

If I deactivate the plugin and operate as normal ten the main image will update to the variation image as shown in the first attachment image, (I apologise but I am on mobile at the moment so it’s a small screenshot but you can see what I mean).

I purchased the variation gallery image plugin as each colour variation has more than one image for example yellow may have seven images instead of just the one image displayed when a variation is selected.

As you can see from the second screenshot the plugin allows uploading of multiple images when creating a variation. I would then expect these images to appear in a similar style as to the normal gallery images underneath the main image in a slider type style but just with the gallery images from that variation as shown in the third attachment.

However what I get is all of the variation gallery images as shown in the fourth attachment. They are just in a list rather than in a slider style as per the default style.

As mentioned it is an official Woocommerce plugin and this shouldn’t be happening. The behaviour expected is for the images to be replaced with the images for the variation selected in the same style but this does not happen.

Please try to disable the WoodMart swatches completely, and try this plugin. You need to enter each attribute item and remove the color and image, in another word, follow this instruction vice versa: https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/variable-products-swatches/

As per your initial reply you stated that the ability to add variation images to a product is already incorporated into Woodmart. I have uploaded a screenshot to show that I can see the option.

Can you please show me where this is as when I was creating a variation as per your instructions it wouldn’t allow me to upload variation gallery images, hence why I purchased the Woocommerce plugin to achieve that.

You can see the main image and gallery for each variation. You need to add at least one product to the main product gallery.

But that’s the point that l is exactly what I did. You cannot even add the variation images in that manner without purchasing the Woocommerce plugin which I have purchased.

That’s the point I am making I have purchased the plugin for the functionality to add variation images however the theme does not use those variation gallery images in the proper manner.

There is no other way to add variation gallery images. Adding the images is not the problem it is the way the are displaying on the front end. They should be used the exact same way that all the main product image and gallery images are used but they aren’t. That is what needs to be fixed.
