Variation Swatches – Out of Stock

How to make the variation on product archive and single product appear with a X or Opacity when is out of stock?

Go to Products > Attributes > edit attribute > Choose the disabled swatch.

The Disabled Swatch style is for the variants of the Products which are disabled not for the Out of Stock variants. So, you need to have the variant of the Product not checked with the Enable option on it and then the Disabled Swatch style will work accordingly. See these images for reference:

Ohhh..so, i will need to disable each variation? This client will have 3.000 products. What i need is the variation disabled on product archive (attached)

Yes you need to disable each variation. when you disable the swatch style the swatches will not showing in the grid.
