Video on Product Image for Variable products

Hello,
I have a issue with adding video for product image on variable product.

So i add video for product image, but when single product page is loaded.. it is automatically selected on default variation. Cause of that video is not loading at all on main product image (even if the product image is the same as image of default variation selected).

Is there a way of showing video for product image in this cases?

So here are 2 photos:
1. for simple product where video is attached to main image (video is showing correctly)
2. for variable product where video is attached to main image (it is not showing correctly)

On variable it is set default variation. As soon page loads, the main image is basically switched to product variation image and video then disappear.

This behavior is expected when a default variation is set and Additional variation images are used.

On variable products, once the page loads, It automatically selects the default variation and replaces the main (parent) product image with the variation image/gallery. Since the video is attached to the parent product image, it gets overridden by the variation image, which is why the video no longer appears.

This is standard behavior when variation images are assigned. Currently, videos can only be attached to the main product gallery, not to individual variation galleries.

If you want the video to remain visible, you would need to avoid setting a default variation, or Avoid assigning variation images. If you disable the “Additional variations images” from Theme Settings > Shop > Variable product then it will work as you want.
