Visual Composer Not Working

Hi there,

I have just bought the theme and installed all the plugins and dummy content. When going to edit the pages it does not display the Visual Composer correctly, it just shows up as short codes. I have ensured that the Visual Composer and theme are updated (saw in a previous post this was the issue) but it still does not work properly.

Desperate for an answer so I can continue editing my website, but have hit a dead end and can not figure out why it is not working.

Just to add a bit more information, the part that is not working is the Backend Editor. It just shows up as shortcodes.
