Vulnerability + Can’t update Theme

    Hi There,

    Our security company detected a vulnerability with our current version of the theme,

    We have tried to update the theme, but it is not successful, we have tried multiple ways as the previous version has caused our site to be blocklisted. Please can you assist with updating to resolve the vulnerability.

    Hello,

    Thank you so much for purchasing our theme and contacting our support center.

    Try to do the following to update the theme:

    1. Go to Dashboard -> WoodMart -> Theme License and deactivate the theme.

    2. Go to Dashboard -> Updates and click on Check Again.

    3. Activate the theme with your purchase code again.

    4. Go to Dashboard -> Updates and click on Check Again.

    5. Try to update the theme via Appearance -> Themes or via Dashboard -> Updates.

    I have tried all the steps listed, still no success to get the theme updated to fix the security issues.

    Please, deactivate the theme and send us your purchase code so we can check this and update the theme.

    This is one of the problems I have, even if I deactivate the license code and refresh the page it shows activated again. Tried multiple times.

    If you can’t deactivate it then you have a nulled version of the theme installed. In this case, you need to download our theme from ThemeForest and reinstall it completely.

    What process should I follow to ensure all theme settings remain in place as this is a live site?

    Hello,

    We are not responsible for any errors if they are caused by the theme downloaded from 3rd party website.

    Please, update the theme and let us know what error you get so we can see if it is caused by the theme or not.

    Hi there,

    We originally got the theme from envato elements, but now we saw security problems. So 3 days ago I purchased a brand new license for you theme on theme forest so I could get support help to help us update the theme to the latest version.

    When I try update it either says theme folder already exists or this error: PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature

    I have gone through all the documentation and steps you have mentioned but still can’t get it to update.

    Please can you help us with updating it. I bought a new license just for this.

    Hello,

    Our theme was never part of Envato Elements. You or your developer downloaded and installed a nulled version of the theme from some pirate website.

    That is why you can’t update it using our automatic update mechanism. Now you need to reinstall the theme completely via Appearance -> Themes -> Add new.
