Waitlists – don’t allow waitlist for Hidden products

Is it possible to hide the Waitlist sign up form on products which have the Catalogue visibility set to Hidden?

We use the Hidden visibility setting to hide discontinued products from our store catalogue. This allows these products to remain published to maintain SEO rankings and offer customers an alternative product if they find them. However, by doing this, if a user lands on a hidden product, seeing the Waitlist form is confusing for them. We want to make it clear the hidden products are discontinued, so we don’t want the Waitlist form showing on products set to Hidden.

Currently, there is no such option in our theme. We will consider this as a feature request for future updates.
