Want to add a pop-up button after 'add to cart' button

How would I add a pop up button directly after the add to cart button on the product page?

You will need to create a popup element in HTML block http://prntscr.com/kacjv7

Then add the HTML ID http://prntscr.com/kackej to After “Add to cart button” text area http://prntscr.com/kackrz in Theme Settings > Product page

Thanks I have added html to this area as shown in the link below.

However I want the button to be displayed directly next to the ‘add to cart’ button as shown in the image attached.

Is that possible?

No, there is no possibility to do it with options of out theme. You will need to customize the product page template.
