WebP and AVIF in woodmart / woocommerce

Hi,
I would like to use next gen file formats AVIF and WebP using imagify to help me with my pagespeed.

However, on this link https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/update-6-0-explained/ I saw the following remark:
It is not possible to use WEBP there because it breaks default WooCommerce scripts for variable product images.

Is this still the case? Or is it alrady possible to use AVIF and WEBP safely everywhere within my woodmart theme?

Hello,

This is not a theme bug, and we can’t fix it in the WooCommerce plugin. WEBP still doesn’t work for the single product page gallery.
