Webp images not showing on product variation swatched

Hi there,
Can you confirm if I can use webp images for product variation swatches?
I have a product that uses webp images and the product variation swatches doesn’t switch to the variation image.

If I use jpeg or jpg, it shows up without any issue.

I’m talking about variation swatches sorry not the variation images.

It shows up for other products using JPEG:

It’s not showing up when I’m using WEBP.

Please deactivate all the third party plugins then check back.
