Website layout missing elements and all left aligned when after importing theme

I have an issue with the layout of the theme. When i import a theme like furniture 2 it is missing a lot of elements and everything is aligned to the left. It looks nothing like the demo site. I have changed the Max input vars to 5000 and its still the same. Kindly advice on how to sort this issue out. thank you.
