    Hello,

I have a website that was originally built about two years ago using a nulled version of the WoodMart theme. Recently, the site became heavily infected with malware, so I decided to stop maintaining it and instead purchased a legitimate licensed version of the theme.

The issue is that my current website contains a large number of custom modifications (both design and functionality), as well as a significant amount of uploaded products, which took considerable time and effort to create.

    I would like to know:

Is it possible to safely migrate/import all products (including images, categories, attributes, etc.) to the new clean installation with the licensed theme?
Can the existing custom modifications be transferred or replicated on the new theme?
What would be the recommended approach to avoid transferring malware during this process?

I want to ensure the new website is clean, secure, and fully functional, without losing my existing data and work.

Thank you in advance for your guidance.

    Hello,

Yes, you can try to migrate the site to new installation by using the Duplicator plugin or WP All migration plugin on the site.

Yes, but won’t this transfer viruses from the old site?

    Hello,

Export only products (via WooCommerce > Export) and import them into the new clean installation: https://woocommerce.com/document/product-csv-importer-exporter/

Manually reinstall the theme, plugins, and rebuild customizations. This way, you transfer only clean data (products, categories, etc.) and avoid bringing malware into the new site.

As for the malware, check the article below for help:

    Best Regards
