Where to set Bestseller, Sale Products, Products w/ new Labels, … ?

Hi,

I couldn’t find a place in the woodmart theme where to assign a product to “Bestseller” category or “Sales Products” category.

Also I like to change the text for these categories such as “Bestseller” to “Best Seller” …. where is the settings for this ?

You can assign products to the “Bestseller” or “Sales Products” categories by creating custom product categories in Products > Categories and manually assigning products to them.

These categories are not part of Products > Categories

Where are these listed in the dashboard ?

Sure, attached the screenshot. When you edit the home page, and scroll down to “Featured Products” for example,
there you can add any of these categories shown on the left panel of the attachment

All Products
Featured Products
Sale Products
Products with NEW label
Bestsellers
List of IDs
Top Rated Products
Recently Viewed Products

My question is, where are these categories listed ? For example it shows “Sale Products” or “Bestsellers”. I don’t see anywhere in categories or tags or etc where these options are listed. Makes sense now ?

These options like “Sale Products” and “Bestsellers” are product data sources, not actual categories or tags. They pull products based on specific conditions:

Sale Products: Products with a sale price or marked as “on sale.”
Bestsellers: Products with the highest number of sales.

You don’t need to configure these in the admin. For example, to display Sale Products, just apply a sale price to the products. Bestsellers are determined automatically based on the number of sales.
