Why HTML Blocks don’t have a section “Custom Fields” like Pages and Posts ?

I need to apply this procedure on an HTML Block, but HTML Blocks don’t have “Custom Fields” like on default Pages and Posts. Why?

Hello

You can use widgets that are available in the page builder using html blocks. There is no option in theme setting to add more custom fields. You need to find a third party plugin to achieve this.

Why would I need a third-party plugin to add “custom fields” in YOUR theme, while the “custom fields” is a default feature for Pages and Posts on WordPress ?

Your HTML Blocks should be compatible with the DEFAULT “Custom Fields” available in WordPress Posts and Pages.

The custom fields are not available in our HTML block section. The HTML block is our theme custom post type which is why the default WP features are not available for it.

I am forwarding this to our development department for considering adding it to the theme, but I am not giving you a guarantee for that because please note that a theme cannot satisfy all requirements as it may occur theme heaviness. Sometimes it may require your own customization. So if the development department finds it fit with the theme environment then surely they will look through it.
