Hi, I need your support: I have inserted a promo-popup on the site that contains a widget named “Call to action” and I need it to be closed ALSO with a button, as well as with the “X” (send screenshot).

Maybe you could help me understand what link I need to give to the button?
    1) I tried using the href into the “call to action” widget
    2) I tried to install Elementor Pro, using the “close popup” function
    3) I tried to put close but in this case, the button works but the X disappears

can you help me? I’m sending 3 screenshots. Thank you very much

    Hello,

Could you please check how it works with the default WordPress theme like WooCommerce Storefront to understand whether it is our theme issue or not?

    Kind Regards

Hello and thank you very much.
Unfortunately I can’t verify this on a different theme, because the “promo-popup” is a function of the Woodmart theme, which is not present in the other themes.
The promo-popup contains the close button “X”: I didn’t insert this button, but this is a part of theme settings (I send a screenshot). This “X” button, I believe, does not allow other popup close buttons to work.

    Hello,

I thought that you were using only the popup from the Elementor – https://prnt.sc/aa993sJijrPd

First, please check how the “Call to action” works on the default theme (https://prnt.sc/L6LS_qKvogM_), close buttons, etc. and let me know.

    I await your response.

    Kind Regards

    Hi and thanks!
    I’m using:
    – the “promo popup” in the theme settings, that contains the X button: https://prnt.sc/VxM9M0xBj7QP
    – the widget CTA of Elementor Pro, that does NOT contain the “X” button, but this widget only contain a link https://prnt.sc/pD5Xe7Tgx3yM

So, I think that the “X” button (https://prnt.sc/VxM9M0xBj7QP) is a function of the theme: and maybe since this X-close-button already exists, other different a href (like the link in the CTA) that could close the popup, cannot work.
    Could this be the problem?

    Thank you!

    Hi,
sorry, I removed the CTA button and inserted manually a simple text, using the same class present in the X-button: CLOSE . Here: https://prnt.sc/7KnQdEnv4ibP

This new link CLOSE works, but from now on the x-button disappears.

Do you think it’s possible to use both buttons?
    Thank you

    Hello,

    Sorry for the delay.

Yes, there can be only 1 close button for our popup, in your case, you define it manually inside the element CTA and it works well as I can see.

Let me know if you have any additional questions.

    Kind Regards
