Will an update affect my site?

Hi,
I want to update our theme to Woodmart 6.1.5. Will an update to the theme affect my “Custom CSS” and customizations made in the WooCommerce user panel? I have not made changes directly in the code (File Manager), but made CSS changes through “Theme Settings” -> “Custom CSS”.
Do you have any recommendations regarding. procedures to do before updating? Ex. recommended backup plugins?

You need to make sure that all your code customizations are added to the child theme before updating the theme.CSS changes will not be lost.
We always recommend taking a complete backup of the website before updating. And you can use the
UpdraftPlus plugin to take backup of the website: https://wordpress.org/plugins/updraftplus/

I have created a child theme but can’t see if all the changes have been done there. Is it any posibility to test/check this?

You need to check manually if all your changes are also in the child theme.
