Wishlist Icon Not Updating After Removing Product From Wishlist

    Hello,

    I added a test product and then added it to the wishlist. When I opened the wishlist, the product was there, and the checkmark icon on the product (before entering the product page) was also showing as selected. You can see on image.

    However, after I removed the product from the wishlist, the checkmark on the product remained as if the product was still in the wishlist, even though it was no longer there. Also, after that, I couldn’t add the product back to the wishlist anymore.

    I tested the same procedure with the compare feature, and there were no issues there for the same steps. Everything is updating.

    Can you check this issue, please?

    Hi ivoltbg,

    Thanks for reaching to us and appreciate your patience.

    You are using cache WP Rocket plugin.

    In general, Wishlist, Cart and Compare pages should not be cached at all, so I suggest you exclude those pages from the cache and recheck the issue.

    Hi,

    I followed your instructions, but I’m using the default caching plugin, which I didn’t install myself. It probably comes bundled either with your theme or with the WordPress installation itself. It’s called “LiteSpeed Cache Settings”. I couldn’t find WP Rocket, which you mentioned.

    There is some progress – I added the Cart, Wishlist, and Compare pages to the cache exclusions(check attached image, please), and that helped.

    However, now the issue only remains when I’m logged into the website (frontend) with a user account that has Administrator rights. When I log in as a regular customer (without any admin permissions), the issue doesn’t appear.

    Do you have any idea how this can be fixed?

    Hi ivoltbg,

    You should deactivate all plugins (except Required Plugins) and then reactivate them one by one. This makes it very easy to isolate the plugin causing problems.

    maybe something on my side got broken. I’m attaching a video so you can see how the bug appeared, but at the end, I did something and it got fixed. Honestly, I don’t even know exactly what happened.
