Wishlist sharing not working
-
Steps to reproduce:
Add any product to wishlist
Share, eg. over email
URL given works only for user that created the wishlist and if shared to someone, that other user will see his own favorites.
The wishlists are created in way too simple order and can be guessed and accessed by anyone, making it a potential GDPR issue.
Example of URLs that are generated.

https://vhi6wzrv6g-staging.onrocket.site/wishlist/2/

Is there a way to fix wishlist sharing and randomising the generated URL?
Hello,
Could you please disable all plugins that are not related to our theme and provide us your admin and FTP access so we can check it?
Thank you in advance
All plugins disabled except woocommerce and woodmart core.
Added ftp details in private content.
Hello,
It seems to work correctly now and the wishlist can be shared. Here is a screenshot https://gyazo.com/dc93675bcde73341bf3a8b488d3cdb3b
Kind Regards
Thank you for reply.
That is not a good way to share wishlist URL, as I explained. Proper way would be to randomise the URL generated by wishlist, for example as Smart Wishlist plugin does:
/wishlist/view/H160YLHS4M4D/

Yes, we understand your point. We will consider this improvement as a feature request.
I’m impressed by how polished your theme is so far after preparing it for replacing my elementor pro webshop. I just hope you fix oversight soon, since I can’t use wishlist feature from your theme but have to resort to some plugin.
Thank you for support so far.
Thank you for the feedback. We are glad that you like it 🙂
