Wishlist shows incorrect product count

Hello!

When a customer is logged in to our store the wishlist shows a product count of 3 but when you enter into the wishlist page there is nothing in the wishlist.

When customers are not logged in then the wishlist function works fine.

We tried deactivating all third party plugins and the same issue occurs.

Can you advise what could be causing this issue please?

We are checking the Wishlist not logged out and it works correctly: it shows the number of products actually added to the Wishlist and when I check the page it shows the added products.

Please describe the steps how to reproduce the problem.
