    Hi,

    I’m using WoodMart with WPML (site languages: FR / EN-CA / EN-US) and I’m facing two issues:

    Labels not translatable

    The mobile toolbar items and the “Show sidebar” button label don’t appear in WPML String Translation.

    How can we make these labels translatable per language (or expose them to WPML if they’re injected via JS)?

    Two filter buttons on mobile/tablet
    Current behavior:

    Desktop: sidebar is always visible (OK) + “Sort by” on the top right (keep).

    Mobile/Tablet: two buttons open the off-canvas filters: “Show sidebar” (top left) and “Filters” (toolbar).

    Desired behavior:

    Desktop: sidebar always visible + “Sort by” visible.

    Mobile: only the “Filters” toolbar button should open the off-canvas filters + “Sort by” visible.

    Remove “Show sidebar” entirely.

    Could you advise the correct WoodMart settings (and/or code hooks) to:

    expose “Show sidebar” and mobile toolbar labels to WPML for translation, and

    disable the “Show sidebar” toggle on mobile while keeping the “Filters” toolbar button?

    Environment: WoodMart (6.8.3), WoodMart Core (1.1.4), WooCommerce (10.3.3), WPML (6.8.3).

    Thanks a lot!

    Hello,

    1. Please go to WPML >> String Translation >> Click the scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Translate texts in admin screens link. https://cdn.wpml.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/translate-texts-in-admin-screens.png

    This will take you to a searchable list of admin strings. Find the Words that you want to translate and then select those words and add them to the string Translation then you will go to the WPML >> String Translation >> then find and translate them into other languages.

    2. For the second issue, delete the showsidebar button and set the filters button. I need your WP admin login details of the site so I will check and let you know the solution.

    Best Regards.

    Hi, thanks for your response. Here are the login details below.

    One more quick thing: Could you also remove the filters from the main shop page (desktop only)? Please let me know how you did it in case I need to adjust later.

    Thanks!

    Hello,

    Navigate to Theme Settings > Product Archive > Sidebar — set the sidebar position “1 column”.

    Thanks for your answer!

    No, this solution removes the sidebar – that’s not what I need.

    SUMMARY OF MY REQUEST (see attached images):
    – ✅ Sidebar visible on DESKTOP (always)
    – ✅ Sidebar in off-canvas on MOBILE/TABLET (always)
    – ❌ Remove ONLY the “Show sidebar” button in the top left on MOBILE/TABLET
    – ✅ Keep the “Filters” button in the toolbar mobile (opens the off-canvas)

    The “Show sidebar” button in the top left on MOBILE/TABLET is the only thing
    that needs to be removed.

    Thank you for reviewing my original request + the images.

    Hello,

    Your issue has been solved. I have added the small custom CSS code in the Theme Settings >> Custom CSS >> Mobile and tablet CSS section:

    .wd-show-sidebar-btn.wd-action-btn.wd-style-text.wd-burger-icon {
        display: none;
    }

    Best Regards.
