Hello,
WooCommerce has an experimental feature called Email improvements that can “Enable modern email design and live preview for transactional emails”.
This feature is supposed to be enabled as standard in WooCommerce 9.8 as per the pre release update:

This feature is nice because it adds a little extra options to the customization of emails and it provides a preview of the transactional email. Furthermore it is possible to send a test email with the feature enabled.
Unfortunately this does not seem to work with Woodmart theme.
When enabling the feature with Woodmart theme active, it can’t load dummy product in the preview and it is unable to send a test email with the error ” The response is not a valid JSON response”.
With Twenty Twenty-Five theme it works flawlessly.
I attached screenshots of the feature with both Woodmart and with Twenty Twenty-Five.
Woodmart Core does not seem to make a difference. It is the theme itself that somehow prevents the feature from working
I tested it with all plugins disabled except:
– Woocommerce
– Woodmart Core
Can You explain this behaviour?
