Woocommerce Germanized conflicting with ajax functionality
-
Hello,
I found the problem why Ajax wasn’t working anymore. I now know why: when I enable the plugin “Wocommerce Germanized” the ajax functionality doesn’t work anymore as exspected – it causes an unnecessary page reload.
Hello,
Could you please provide us your admin and FTP access so we can troubleshoot why it doesn’t work?
Thank you in advance.
Hello, thank you for your fast response.
I’m not sure anymore that Germanized causes that problem. I already mentioned the problem in another thread (Cookies/Ajax-Funcionality: https://xtemos.com/forums/topic/duplicate-h1-page-title-on-category-view/).
I deactivated all plugins except the ones which came with the template. When I log in to the wordpress backend I can’t access the frontend anymore (500 internal server error). When I delete the cookies I can access the frontend again but can’t access the backend anymore (because of deleted cookies). Then I open an inkognito tab and I can access the frontend in that tab without the 500 error. So I assume that it has something to do with cookies which can indeed cause 500 errors. I wanted to remove the sources pointing to xtemos.com…but I can’t save the changes.
These are the cookies when not logged in to the backend – see attachment #1
These are the cookies when logged in to the backend – see attachment #2
Side effect: I can’t save widgets anymore and can’t update extensions – in console: Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 (Internal Server Error) /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php
When I activate debug mode of wordpress I get this:

Hi,
Strange, but when we deactivate the child theme the AJAX starts working correctly. Did you make any changes in the child theme?
