ytodaeParticipantWe need this feature to better track affiliate origin sources, but we don’t know the reason for this misfunction since a few weeks.

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
To better assist you, could you kindly test the functionality with default WordPress themes such as TwentyTwenty or WooCommerce Storefront? This will help us determine whether the issue stems from our theme or elsewhere.
Regards

ytodaeParticipantI’ve activated the WordPress default theme, but the origin is still “unkwown” in the backend. Customers can’t navigate without your theme “WoodMart” so there is no option to test it otherwise.
But i’ve created a fresh new WPStaging of the site (the credentials are below), so you can test it too.

Artem TemosKeymasterTry to add some simple navigation and reproduce the issue with the default theme to understand if it is affected by WoodMart somehow.

ytodaeParticipantI can navigate through the site, but there is no option to place an order, so how should i test it with a non functioning template?

Artem TemosKeymasterPlease switch to the default theme and disable all plugins that are not related to our theme so we can check how it works.

ytodaeParticipantCan you tell me how a shop should work, if the necessary plugins or template is not active? What kind of error debugging is that?

Artem TemosKeymasterOrders functionality is a part of the WooCommerce plugin and not the theme. The issue you mentioned from the beginning is not related to WoodMart. That is why we asked you to check with the default WordPress theme. It will work with WooCommerce plugin only and you will be able to create an order and test this.

ytodaeParticipantBut it worked until the 6th/7th of February.
Maybe the issue began with your theme updates from:
– 27-02-2025 – Update version 8.1
– 05-03-2025 – Update version 8.1.1We’ve noticed it today, that the order origin is unkown!

ytodaeParticipantHere is the link to woocommerce:
https://woocommerce.com/document/order-attribution-tracking/
Note: Order Attribution Tracking data is available only to orders generated after enabling this feature or updating to WooCommerce 8.5. If you deactivate this feature at any point, orders placed during the disabled period will not incorporate this data.
WooCommerce version is 9.7.1 now. So it worked since version 8.5 and should do it now too.

Artem TemosKeymasterYes, this option is available in WooCommerce and has not related to our theme. That is why you need to test how it works with the default theme first to understand if it is affected by WoodMart or not.

ytodaeParticipantI found the solution. It was the “Borlabs Cookie” plugin. Under “Library > Installed Packages > WooCommerce (Version 1.44.54),” I clicked “Reinstall” under Details and then cleared the site cache. After placing a test order, the order origin was visible again.
