edgarskairansParticipantHello,
I’ve encountered the following problem: if I open one category and then another one (for example:
/en/bathroom/accessories/), and then switch the language, it opens not the corresponding category in the other language, but the previous category instead. From
/en/bathroom/accessories/For example, it should open:
/lv/bathroom-lv/accessories-lv/but instead it opens:
/lv/bathroom-lv/.Could you please advise how to solve this issue?
As far as I understand, this happens because of AJAX. If it’s not possible to fix it properly, is there a way to make all category pages open without AJAX (with a full page reload), while keeping all filters working via AJAX?
Thank you in advance.

edgarskairansParticipantHello,
It is still not working.
It only works if I open the page directly via a link or do not reload the page.If I go to the homepage → then a category → then a subcategory, and then switch the language, it does not work (it works very rarely).
The cache has been cleared.
Thanks

There is no way to disable Ajax only for the categories, and filters will work on Ajax. If you will disable the Ajax from the theme settings, then it will be disabled for the filters as well.
Yes, after disabling the Ajax option, the page reloads and lands on the same category page.
Best Regards.

edgarskairansParticipantHello,
It turns out that the issue is a compatibility problem between the theme and WPML. The AJAX changes the URL, but WPML does not recognize it. Is there a way to fix this?
Thanks

Hello,Your issue has been solved. I have updated the theme and plugins on the site now it is working fine. Please check the site after removing the browser cache.
=============================================It seems that after an update, the slider on the homepage is displayed full-width only on the main WPML language (English). On other languages, the slider is shown only within the container width.
I have updated the translations, cleared the cache, and re-saved the page in Elementor, but nothing helps.
Could you please advise how to fix this issue?
Thanks
Best RegardsJanuary 19, 2026 at 3:45 pm #705057Hello,
You can fix it by applying
patch # 705035. To do this, go to Dashboard -> WoodMart -> Patcher, find the corresponding patch and click on the “Apply” button. Let us know if it works for you.Best Regards

edgarskairansParticipantHello!
Please resolve this as quickly as possible.
I cleared the cache, which didn’t fix the issue, but now there is a serious bug: when I’m in a category, for example /bathtubs/, everything works fine, but if I go to /bathtubs/parts/white/ and try to switch the language, it doesn’t work — I am redirected back to /bathtubs/ on the same language instead of the selected one. Please check on different languages, not just English.
Thanks

You didn’t apply the patch https://monosnap.ai/file/ayd5VI4Af4CiwBi0jL8u5kZz2vaars, so the problem still remains. Please apply the patch, clear the cache, and check.

edgarskairansParticipantHello,
I just made a backup and applied the new patch, but I’m still having the same issues I wrote about.

We cleared the cache on your website and checked that the language switch links are working correctly. Here is a video: https://monosnap.ai/file/pdUnUWkOQ4qcvTf49fKa8u9qPqWEhR
— please note that the link is visible in the bottom-left corner.Best Regards,

edgarskairansParticipantHello,
Please try to resolve the issue as soon as possible. Kindly watch the video: when being on the Latvian version of the site and hovering over “English,” the link does not lead to the English version of the website (/en/), but instead points to the Latvian version (/lv/) that you were on at the moment the video was recorded.
Thanks
Best RegardsJanuary 22, 2026 at 11:33 am #705621Hello,
After reviewing your issue, we can assure you that this problem is not related to our theme. The generation of URLs for pages in different languages is handled by the WPML plugin.
While checking the Shop page settings, we noticed that there is no Shop page created for the English version of the website.
Please see the screenshot: https://monosnap.ai/file/zVCgQGDZpJ8X4gfNvoFdWmKV38mPqR
Please add the Shop page for the English language and then check the behavior again.

edgarskairansParticipantHello,
I’ve added the translation, but it didn’t help.
Before the patch, there were issues with switching to other languages in subcategories ( example /dekora-elementi/gridlistes/) — for everyone, not just me. After the patch, the problem was partially resolved: switching from English (/en/) works correctly. However, from Latvian (/lv/) it does not switch to English, but it does switch to Russian. From Russian (/ru/) it does not switch to English or Latvian. If the page is reloaded, language switching works correctly on all languages.
The problem seems to be related to AJAX again with wpml. Could you please double-check the code of patch 705035? There might be a mistake or some detail that was overlooked.
While the issue is being investigated, I will probably disable AJAX. Please take this into account when testing.
I’ve just changed the language order (see screenshot), and yes — it turns out that from the first language it switches correctly to the second and third, from the second only to the third, and from the third it doesn’t switch to any language at all.
Yes, sometimes there are bugs where it tries to redirect back to the parent category, but overall the issue behaves exactly as I described.
Thanks

Could you please record a video demonstrating the issue? At the moment, we do not see any problems with the language switcher on your website when the AJAX shop option is enabled.
