Woodmart 7.1: Issue with new reviews

    Hi there

    I’ve just updated to Woodmart 7.1 and enabled the new features from the Reviews.

    I did enabled the newly added “Rating by criteria” and added one additional criteria “Design”.

    When I access the rating section of a product, the new criteria is shown:

    When I select rating stars from the first entry (Deine Bewertung), I can click i.e. on a 4 star rating. When I do the same for the newly added criteria “Design”, the page jumps to the top of the page without accepting the star rating.

    I can also see that a closing “/” and “#” is added to the URL afterwards.

    Hello,

    Please, disable all plugins that are not related to our theme and provide us with your admin and FTP access. We will log in and check what is wrong there. You can leave only the following plugins that are required for our theme:
    WoodMart core
    WooCommerce
    Elementor/WPBakery page builder

    Hi Artem

    Many thanks. I’ve created a staging environment (exact copy from live site) and deactivated all plugins as requested, except of the ones needed to run Woodmart.

    Please, update the theme to the latest version 7.1.2. We have fixed this bug already.

    Many thanks, works as expected now.

    Just one last question. After submitting a review, there’s no system response message shown (i.e. “Thank you for reviewing this product”). After submitting the review, the page is just reloaded. Is there any way to show the user a system message?

    Hello,

    Yes, there is no such message in WooCommerce reviews by default. We will consider this as a feature request.
