Woodmart add to cart

Hi,

The theme has been good overall but I have an issue which is causing me headaches.

The admin-ajax.php process or add to cart process is ridiculously slow. Adding an item to cart takes many seconds sometimes 4 or more to add then a few more seconds to update the cart itself.

All in all its not a good experience for the user and any advice would be very much appreciated.

To better assist you, could you kindly test the functionality with default WordPress themes such as TwentyTwenty or WooCommerce Storefront? This will help us determine whether the issue stems from our theme or elsewhere.

I removed woodmart and its still slow…i think its the admin-ajax I dont know how to speed it up, its not the server either. Any ideas would be appreciated.

If it is slow with other themes as well then it is most likely a server issue. But it is not something related to our theme.

I appreciate that, there are a lot of posts relating to admin-ajax.php and i wondered if you had any experience that might point me in the right direction?

Either way I appreciate your help and understand now i tested your first suggestion is not your issue.

We recommend testing it without any active plugins and with the default theme. If it doesn’t help, contact your hosting provider for help.
