pavel.vutkowParticipantHello, could you give me some information on the following:
1. I am currently using the js composer builder. I am aware that there is no exact migration, but how can I or how will I be able to switch from one builder to this one when there is a stable version?
– Will you make some clear instructions to recreate the pages and completely remove the other builders, so that the site becomes as clean as possible?
– The site must be rebuilt somewhere and redone, or it will be possible to put the new builder on the same site and recreate the pages – this is important, given that we have customers, orders, etc. and migration is not easy.2. What do you mean by ADDED: 70+ pre-built websites
– can I install a ready-made version of your theme with all its components and test the recreation or individual parts, pages?
Regards,

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
Thank you for your questions.
1. You just need to switch to Gutenberg in Theme Settings -> Other and enable Gutenberg blocks there.
– Yes, we will add these instructions to the documentation. But actually you just need to deactivate the WPBakery plugin and replace page’s content with Gutenberg blocks manually.
– You can keep the WPBakery page builder active and recreate all pages one by one. It will not affect your website orders, products etc.
2. Yes, you can import all the available demo prebuilt websites and check how they are made. You can do this in Dashboard -> WoodMart -> Prebuilt websites.
Kind Regards

pavel.vutkowParticipantHello,
I installed the new theme and activated Gutenberg as you directed.
Unfortunately, I don’t understand how it is managed and how to use the new builder. The only one I see is on WPBakery..
Can you help me?

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
Make sure that you have activated Gutenberg blocks in Theme Settings -> Other. Also, here is a documentation that should help you to understand how to use our theme’s blocks.
Kind Regards

pavel.vutkowParticipantHi, I found the problem was in JS_composer – disable Gutenberg options.
Everything is ok – just there you have basic instruction and need time to start with this block editor 🙂
It will be ok to write something like for other builders – but I will wait and test myself :).
Thanks

pavel.vutkowParticipantHi there,
Gutenberg is slow. How can I improve its performance?
I installed this builder and started testing and working on the home page but I’m facing what I can call a hideous usability…
This builder is extremely slow. For one update, I need 15-20 seconds or a minute, and if I have to change something bigger, it just crashes…
Why is it running so slow – I’m on my own server with 4 cores 8 GB RAM not loaded – I removed any caching plugins. I only have your theme and the required plugins from you nothing more.
If that’s the way it works, I have to spend 4 months to correct everything and I don’t know how the products and posts are handled after that…Is there a reason why it is so slow and so bad to work with this builder?
—————-
My pc is 24gb ram and 16 cores ..etc. not busy, I’m sharing it because someone shared that the computer’s resources were being used.Thank you.

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
Could you please record a video so we can see what kind of slowness you face?
