Hello, I have hired a web developer to complete my website, however, If I give them shop manager user role, they do not have access to Woodmart Base import, for some reason I have to give them admiminitrator access in order to for them to access to base import data. Is there any work around for this? I tried different user role editing plug in, still the same outcome.

    Hello,

Thank you very much for choosing our theme and for contacting us.

    1. Make the full backup of your site on the host, hope you have the account access, if you have not try to restore with them.

    2. Enter your database and export Database.

    3. Enter wp_users table edit admin and password, choose MD5 and save.

    Check your site.

Be very very careful! Make the backups before doing anything, enter the changes accurately not to damage your site.

    Best Regards

hello, I tried that, still not working. I have attached a screen shot. The shopmanager can only see the theme settings but not the woodmart import section

Do you have the access to the host of your site? Can you restore that?

Hello, and thanks for your help. I have contacted my hosting customer service to take a look. Everything is fine according to my host provider. The issue that Im having is not a password issue. The issue is the woodmart theme only allows access to import demo data and header builder to the administrator. The woocommerce shop manager cannot cannot install demo content. In the screen shot that I posted, you can see what the woocommerce shop manager sees. I have used other popular themes and have never had this issue. For example, If I go into wordpress and add you as a new user and give you the user role of shop manager, you would not be able to use any of the demo content. the only thing you could do is change the theme settings, you won’t have access to the header builder, base import, additional pages, css generator. If you need access to my site to take a look please let me know. Thanks

    Hello,

The shop manager has the right to edit everything in Woocommerce.

You need to assign administrator rights to the developer so that he could work. As soon as he finishes, you will change the credentials.

    There is no other way.

    Best Regards
