sgoerdelParticipantWoodMart Blog element renders wrong post data on frontend inside Single Post Layout
I am using WoodMart 8.6.2 with a custom Single Post Layout built in Elementor.
The layout contains the WoodMart Blog element.
In Elementor editor preview, the Blog element renders each post correctly.
On the frontend, however, subsequent cards incorrectly use the currently viewed single post’s:featured image
title
permalink
category
DateThe excerpt is still taken from the correct queried post.
For example, the second card shows the Audemars Piguet post’s image/title/date/category/link but the excerpt belonging to the Rolex post.
Troubleshooting performed:Updated WoodMart to 8.6.2
Checked WoodMart Patcher; no relevant Blog/Single Post patches are available
Cleared Elementor, server and browser caches
Changed Blog data source from Related posts to a normal posts source; problem remains
Moved the Blog element to the top of the Single Post Layout; problem remains
Disabled all nonessential plugins
Reproduced with only Elementor, Elementor Pro, WoodMart Core and WooCommerce active
WoodMart parent theme remained active
Elementor preview continues to render correctly
Incorrect values are already present in the server-generated frontend markupThis appears to be a post-context issue in the frontend rendering of the WoodMart Blog element inside a Single Post Layout. It looks as though some template functions may be reading the outer/global $post rather than the current Blog query item.
Please investigate the Blog element’s post context / setup_postdata() handling when rendered in a Single Post Layout.October 1, 2026 at 11:08 am #730392Hello,
