Is there a way to add reviews to a woodmart blog post, I want to add a star rating for specific design aspects of products in a woocommerce blog post ?

The Theme settings do not have the options to show the blog reviews, you can configure the comments in the Dashboard > Settings > Discussion.

No I want to create a review style blog post as the author, I want to be able to add a rating within the blog for specific features in the review.

Sorry to say but right now there is no option in Theme Settings available for that. It requires Customization and this is beyond our limitations and support policy scope. Hope you can understand our limitations.
