MatimtiParticipantHi.
I want to have 2 blogs on the site. Unfortunately, I have a problem because the woodmart widget does not detect the source of the newly created post type (it only detects entries and ID). What should I do to see all posts?
I used the plugin you recommend, Custom Post Type UI.November 17, 2023 at 1:49 pm #513185

MatimtiParticipantI created a page in Elementor to display additional posts. Blog 1 – type post, blog2 – type blog.
When I use the elementor widget I can see the post type I created. Unfortunately, when I use the woodmart widget, I do not see any new post types apart from the standard ones. I added screenshots to the attachments. I am currently working on a work domain.Attachments:

Hung PhamKeymasterHi Matimti,
Thanks for your patience.
You are using Blog widget, which used to get all posts so it doesn’t make sense to display Custom Post Type.
If you want to display all blog posts, you can leave Categories or tags field empty.

MatimtiParticipantHi.
As for the normal situation, you are right – everything is displayed on the blog as standard.
Only in my case I import about 400 posts from the old domain, where I have 2 types of URL addresses.domain-name.pl/post-name (approx. 250 posts – created as a normal page, but I can display them as a page without any problems)
domain-name.pl/blog/post-name (approx. 150 posts)I wanted to create two separate blogs so as not to lose positioning in Google. In my case, the problem is complex.

Hung PhamKeymasterHi Matimti,
Thanks for sharing the details.
I have an ideal for your situation: On the old domain, are you using WoodMart theme or other themes and which plugin you used to create Blog CPT as you called?
If you are using same plugin to create CPTs for both sites, then in the new domain you can install that plugin and import posts from the old domain.

MatimtiParticipantThe problem on the old domain from which I imported entries was complex because the theme was original from a former programmer.
I solved it by creating 2 main categories within 1 blog. This works much better than 2 separate blogs.
