Woodmart changes the related products filter

Hi, when I activate the theme, it changes the logic of how the related products filter work. I modify the related products to show products based on tags, not by categories, but it’s not working. If I deactivate the theme, then it works perfectly fine. So I’m asking you to please send the correct filter that I can use to show related products by tag, not by category. Thank you in advance.

Can you please confirm how this filter works? What is the hierarchy? – the products must be in one category and then in one common tag or?

Related Products is a section on some templates that pulls products from your store that share the same tags or categories as the current product.

These products cannot be specified in the admin but can be influenced by grouping similar products in the same category or by using the same tags.

To manually control related products on the product page, WooCommerce does not provide a built-in option. You need to find a third-party plugin to achieve more functionality that best suits you.
