WoodMart checkout & GLS Shipment facilities

Hello,

We have connected the shipment service GLS to one of our projects, where clients in the checkout should be able to pick en delivery location/time/etc.

Unfortunately this doesn’t work properly now. We have contacted GLS support and they figured out that this service is working with the regular checkout (standard template) but not anymore when the WoodMart template is activated.

This means that in the WoodMart checkout some things are different, compared to the regular checkout. My question is: is it possible to switch to the regular checkout or (even better) to adjust the WoodMart checkout to the standard so that this GLS functionality will work properly?

Please, describe to us your problems in a bit more details. Attach some screenshots and provide us with a list of steps on how to reproduce it on your website.
Allow us to switch between themes on your website so we can compare how it works with default theme.

It should look like it looks on https://www.koper-draad.nl/winkelwagen/afrekenen/ (same webshop owner, the previous webshop of http://www.magnetenkopen.nl had the same look) and should work the same way ofcourse (the GLS delivery part).

There’s a staging envioronment for http://www.magnetenkopen.nl in where this problem can be reproduced. Login details are shared in the private section.

So, the GLS delivery widget is missing when the woodmart template is on. If you switch to an original wordpress template and add a product to the cart and continue to the checkout, you can see that a GLS delivery widget is being shown on the checkout page (also see attachment). This one’s disappearing when the woodmart theme is on.

Everything on our side is OKAY, hoster check also and works fine. we have access via Filezilla!

Thanks so much for this code. It brought us a step closer, although it’s not working properly yet. The functionality is now there, but it’s not complete. There should be 2 options: home-delivery and pickup from a pickup point. When the car164NZAyu*mGU^Eqms!0nPNzqage is loading, you see both options (see screenshot 2), but once the product overview is loaded, the pickup point deliver disappears (the one on the right side). Is there some code causing this?

In attachement 3 you can see the current code that we use.

Another question: where should this file be placed, to avoid it being overwritten/getting lost due to updates?

The fix will be in our next theme update so you don’t need to worry about that.

First view shows good, but When the page is 100% loaded, the right button is gone.
