I bought woodmart and I’m developing the place using the child theme.
I insert any element in the pages and assign a custom class. When I work in the style.css sheet I do not see the changes. If it can help, everything works in the menu classes.

Your problem is not clear enough. You say, you add classes to the elements. They shall be visible in the HTML, and if you assign any rules, they will be visible in idex but not styles.css.
When you create CSS rules add them to the Theme Settings > Custom CSS. Do not touch these files.
