    Hi,

A few days ago when WooCommerce updated their plugin I noticed our website was getting very slow to use the back end and I also saw a few 503 errors. I’ve been doing some playing around and narrowed this down to the Woodmart Core Plugin, when disabled the CPU / Ram instantly drops from 100% back to 5-10%, when Woodmart Core Plugin is left deactivated the website goes 2-3 days with no faults however when enabled constant faults every few minutes.

I’m using a Child Theme, although have removed all my custom functions so these aren’t causing the issue.

I’ve also disabled every plugin I use apart from WooCommerce, WPBakery Page Builder & Woodmart Core as these are the required ones, the error is still persistent until Woodmart Core is turned off. It’s not all the time but most of the time when using the back end.

I have seen some others also posting about a similar issue recently, not sure if might be related.

Login info for wordpress attached below, I can provide cPanel if needed.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

Why has no one replied to my support message in days? Every other support ticket is getting replies except mine?

Please help me with this issue as I’ve re-purchased support, really disappointed with this, it’s been days now?

    Hi,

Currently I have re-enabled most of my plugins as the CPU / RAM has not been spiking at all today, I’m going to monitor it again now, another user mentioned the problem was caused by bots hitting the homepage however confused why this instantly went away when I disabled the Woodmart Core Plugin, but right now it’s enabled and working fine, I’ll re-message if it starts spiking again unless you had any relevant info from the other case?

Hi Jay, sorry for the delay and thanks for the detailed checks you’ve already done.

A quick note on why disabling WoodMart Core seems to “fix” it: that also disables the theme’s custom post types and many features, so the site becomes much lighter. If the spikes were triggered by automated/bot hits (often to the homepage or AJAX endpoints), it would explain why load drops when Core is off.

We’re ready to check further as soon as it reoccurs or if you prefer us to review proactively.

    Kind Regards
