WoodMart Demo/Content Import Fails – “Low Timeout Limit on the Server” Despite 600s PHP Timeout

Hello WoodMart Support,

I am experiencing an issue while importing WoodMart demo/content data.

During the import, I receive the following error:

“The import could not be completed due to a low timeout limit on the server. You need to contact your hosting provider and ask them to increase it to 300 seconds.”

Server Environment
WordPress: 7.1.1
WoodMart: 8.5.7
PHP: 8.3.33
Web server: Apache 2.4.68
Server OS: Ubuntu Server
WordPress is running inside a Docker container managed through Coolify/Traefik.
Hosting architecture: Ubuntu Server → Docker → Coolify → Traefik → WordPress/Apache/PHP
Current PHP Configuration

The following PHP settings are configured:

memory_limit = 512M
max_execution_time = 600
max_input_time = 600
upload_max_filesize = 256M
post_max_size = 256M
max_file_uploads = 50
max_input_vars = 10000

The PHP configuration is loaded through:

/usr/local/etc/php/conf.d/99-wordpress-custom.ini

The WordPress environment previously reported:

PHP memory limit: 512M
PHP time limit: 600 seconds
PHP max input time: 600 seconds
Maximum upload size: 256M
Maximum post size: 256M

I have also increased max_input_vars from the default 1000 to 10000 as recommended by WoodMart.

Additional Troubleshooting

The server is behind Coolify and Traefik. Traefik previously had an ACME permission problem with:

/traefik/acme.json

The file permissions were:

755

I corrected them to:

600

and restarted the Coolify proxy.

The previous Traefik errors regarding:

permissions 755 for /traefik/acme.json are too open
Router uses a nonexistent certificate resolver
HTTP challenge is not enabled

are now gone.

However, the WoodMart importer still reports the same low-timeout error.

What I Need Help With

Could you please confirm:

How does WoodMart determine that the server timeout is below 300 seconds?
Does WoodMart perform a specific AJAX/REST request or server-side timeout test before starting the import?
Could the timeout detection be incompatible with PHP 8.3, Docker, Apache, Coolify, or Traefik?
Is there a WoodMart-specific filter or configuration option that can disable or adjust this timeout check?
Is there a recommended configuration for WoodMart imports when WordPress is running behind a reverse proxy such as Traefik?
If possible, please provide the exact PHP/WordPress configuration required for WoodMart 8.5.7 imports.

The PHP max_execution_time and max_input_time are already set to 600 seconds, so simply increasing the PHP execution timeout further does not appear to resolve the issue.

Please let me know if you need any additional logs, screenshots, or diagnostic information from the WordPress/WoodMart importer.
