Following your instructions, I deactivated all non-essential plugins. Interestingly, after reactivating them, the issue seems to have disappeared and everything is working correctly now.
I am not entirely sure what caused the initial glitch or why it was resolved simply by toggling the plugins, but I wanted to update you that the site is now stable.
