Woodmart Layered Nav Filter – Not hiding out of stock

We have been doing some testing and it appears woodmart layered nav is showing variations which are out of stock.
Eg; “Size: Small” is an option in the layered nav widget despite that size being out of stock.
This is quite a big problem. I notice others have asked the same question here but no fix was given.
Could you explain why this is not possible please? Its very basic functionality. It is an issue with how layered nav retrieves data, it is not the fault of woocommerce.

Could you please check how it works with some default WordPress themes like TwentyTwenty or WooCommerce Storefront to understand is it our theme issue or not?

Yes I understand it happens on every theme. But my question is how difficult would it be for your layered nav widget to only retrieve products which have the selected variation in stock?
Just loop through the results and remove the name of the attribute for products which are out of stock??
Sorry, but it is not possible to implement this on the theme side. It should be fixed or improved in the WooCommerce core anyway.

Currently, we don’t know if they have such plans.
