    Hi guys,
    I am just wondering:
I have a site to build that will most likely require two subdomains, same business, same project, but they have a general woo commerce for general purchasers and want to also have a subdomain for their club members and one for wholesale.

I would be happy to have this all on the same domain but one issue I have found is that although I can create a separate page with only wholesale pricing, and a separate page for the club members (I can password protect these pages) The ‘return to shop’ always returns to the woo commerce default shop page hence would be rather confusing if the wholesale and or club members click the ‘return to shop’ button.

Is there a way around this?

e.g: create a ‘return to shop’ redirect depending on what page you are on? or have you a suggestion?

If I cannot sort this I am wondering if the subdomains would need a license each considering that they are part of the same project other than being used to separate the shop(s).? SEO isnt an issue for the subdomains as I wouldn’t want them to rank anyway.

    e.g: xxx.com.au, wholesale.xxx.com.au, cmclub.xxx.com.au

    Hello,

The shop page is the Woocommerce functionality and it is the way Woocommerce works. You can try to find a redirection plugin and redirect the pages as per your needs.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.

    Best Regards

Can I ask for an answer on the below part of my original question please:

If I cannot sort this I am wondering if the subdomains would need a license each considering that they are part of the same project other than being used to separate the shop(s).? SEO isn’t an issue for the subdomains as I wouldn’t want them to rank anyway.
I wanted to know as obviously I would like to use the same theme to preserve the look/design. The project is the same but I will need to create two subdomains for separating the woo shops for wholesale and Club members.

    Thanks

    Hello,

Yes, you can use one license if these sub-domains are parts of the one and the same site.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.

Yes the subdomains are merely to organize their different customers (same company same products) They have a main site for ‘general customers’ to purchase their ciders. The other subdomains are merely to split their wholesale of which customers can buy bulk items etc at wholesale pricing, and their Cider Club members that get special discounts. Will Woodmart automatically validate the license(s) for the subdomains or will I need to somehow link these subdomains to the same license as the main site? Will I need you guys to do something?

    Thanks

    Hello,

You would not be able to activate the license on such domains. You would better have a multisite, in this case, you will need to activate once license for all the domains.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.

    Best Regards
