lunchbucketecommerceParticipantHi everyone.
I purchased Woodmart and applied Megamarket template. When you go to my live site is looks pretty good.
However, I would to begin on the customization of the homepage via WPBakery but when I try to edit the homepage, all I see is the header, footer, and a blank middle section that says “Add Element, Add text block, and Add template”
What do I need to do so that when I edit the page via WPBakery, I am able to see the live version of my site with all of the elements and text so that I can edit it?
I have already set WPBakery as my page builder in Woodmart Theme Settings.
I have attached some screenshots…

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
Is there any chance that you could give me access to the dashboard area so I can have a look at the settings on your website, please?
Kind Regards

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
For now, you are using Gutenberg as a page builder so navigate to Theme Settings -> Other and disable it – https://take.ms/tOeMi
Then reimport the dummy content. https://take.ms/Z3PBc

lunchbucketecommerceParticipantThank you Luke, that worked.
Next question, how/where do I set the number of products that I want to show in the the Featured Products element of homepage?
Right now there are two rows of five products (10 total). I would like to reduce that to just one row of five products.

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
You need to edit the tab itself and in its settings change those https://take.ms/99gXS settings.
Don’t hesitate to reach out with further inquiries.

lunchbucketecommerceParticipantThank you Luke. Can you take a look at the screencast that I put in the private content area and tell me what I am doing wrong?
To me it appears as if I am doing exactly what I should but it does not seem to take effect.
Thank you.

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
Use backend editor in the WPB, e.g. I have set 4 columns – https://prnt.sc/ZkzTi46SLArK and here is a result – https://prnt.sc/UGRIkl439Hyn
Kind Regards

lunchbucketecommerceParticipantLuke, two follow up questions for you:
1. Any idea why I can’t make this edit from the frontend editor and thus I am forced to use backend editor?
2. My homepage header is only visible when I am logged in as an admin (not as a guest visitor). The header seems to load on product pages, etc, but not the homepage. Any idea what is going on?

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
1. In general, the front-end editor works badly in the WPB, even our developers use the backend editor to make our demos in WPB.
2. It seems like a cache, try to clear the site/browser cache and recheck the issue.
Kind Regards
