On our website, we have implemented four popups (two per language): some on the homepage and one assigned to a specific category page. The trigger conditions appear to function correctly. However, the popups repeatedly reopen, even after being closed.

We have enabled both the “Trigger Once” and “Persistent Close” settings, but neither has resolved the issue. We also disabled LiteSpeed Cache to rule out caching conflicts. Prior to disabling it, we attempted to exclude the relevant cookies within the LiteSpeed settings; however, this did not resolve the problem.

Could you please advise on what might be causing this behavior and suggest possible solutions?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

I did not find or see any issue on the homepage. Can you please share the small video of the issue to reproduce the issue then I will be able to give you the possible solution.

    Best Regards.

    Hello,

It seems what was causing this was Cookie Script. I believe it is ok now, thanks anyway.

    Best regards.

    Hello,

    Thank you for the update.

Yes, that makes sense — third-party cookie or consent scripts (such as Cookie Script) can sometimes block or delay the popup cookies from being properly stored. When that happens, the “Trigger Once” and “Persistent Close” options won’t work correctly because the browser is not saving the popup status.

We’re glad to hear that everything is working properly now.

If the issue appears again, please feel free to share a short video and temporary access so we can further investigate.

    Best Regards.
