ankit_jainParticipantHello team,
For my website techspark.co.in
On the homepage, I am not able to show the Image in the Slider properly.
I want the slider to naturally show all the images from the slides with the whatever the width and height of the image is.
I have set same width and height for all images. In the slider Layout settings, first I had set Height as Custom height of 600 px but then due to that the Slider image width used to go beyond the screen and the image was cutting from top and bottom. So, i used the Height setting as “As Image” in the slider settings but then the Slider Image is showing very small in height. You can check the homepage for that, you will know.
July 9, 2026 at 11:33 am #723342Hello,
The “As Image” height option displays the slider according to the actual dimensions of the uploaded image. If your images have a relatively small height compared to their width, the slider will also appear shorter.
If you want the slider to display larger while maintaining a consistent appearance, we recommend using images with the same dimensions as the desired slider size (1920 × 820 px) and setting the slider height to Custom Height.
Please note that when using a Custom Height, images with an aspect ratio that does not match the slider may be cropped. To minimize cropping, ensure all slider images have the same aspect ratio as the slider height.

ankit_jainParticipantHello team,
My images don’t have small height. All my images are of resolution 7559 x 3024 px
So “As Image”, option should show me the banner images as per the slider image dimension but it is not showing.
I have attached the banner image how it is currently showing on the website.Attachments:

ankit_jainParticipantHi,
I have shared the credentials.
July 10, 2026 at 2:15 pm #723473Hello,
I checked your website and tested this behaviour on our test site and noticed that the images have been added as the slide background images, and there is no content (such as text, buttons, or other elements) inside the slides.
When the slider height is set to “As Image”, the height is calculated based on the slide content. Since your slides only contain a background image and no content, the slider height becomes very small.
To achieve the desired result, you can either:
– Add content (such as a heading, text, or button) to the slide so the slider has height when using the “As Image” option, or
– Use the Custom Height option and set an appropriate height for the slider. Please check these options on your site, and let us know if you have any further questions.

ankit_jainParticipantHello team,
I used a workaround for what I needed.
I removed the image from Slide Background Images.
Instead, I added a Container and added Image element on the Container.
So, now the Image is shown perfectly in full-width. No width or No height is cut with this.
I was expecting same thing with Slide Background Images but there the Image was getting so big that the Image was blown out of the screen (when I used As Image option). Now, with ‘As Image’ option, the images are shown perfectly.
But, with this workaround, I am facing another issue.
The slide-change-animation setting does not work.
I have this set to ‘Distortion’ which was working earlier when Slide Background Images were set.
So, now when the Images are set in the Container, that animation will not work since it can be done with the slide background images.I was hoping if you see the website once and see if something can be worked out for animation thing.
NOTE – Now, when you open the website and see the banner, it will be seen perfectly fit on the site. The same thing I wanted to achieve with Slide Background Image but it doesn’t. And now, Distortion animation will not be seen.
Thanks!
July 13, 2026 at 9:54 am #723556Hello,
I have checked your website.
I have tested this on our test site, and the slider transition effect works only with Slide Background Images. Since you are now using an Image widget inside a Container instead of the slide background image, this animation is no longer applied.
At the moment, this is expected behavior and is a limitation of the slider. The animation effect is designed specifically for background images and cannot be used with images added as content inside the slide.
So, you will need to choose one of the following approaches:
– Use Slide Background Images to enable the transition effect.
– Use an Image widget inside the slide to display the image exactly as you want, but without the Distortion animation.Unfortunately, it is not possible to combine both behaviors with the current slider functionality.

ankit_jainParticipantOk thanks,
I guess for now, I will go with Image widget inside container approach because that way the Image is shown as is (NO CUTS). That is the priority.
It would have been better if Slide Background Images would also be seen ‘As Is’ like it is seen in Image widget.
July 13, 2026 at 1:33 pm #723582Hello,
Yes, when using an Image widget inside the container, the image is displayed according to its original aspect ratio, which allows you to show the complete image.
The Slide Background Image works differently because it uses the slider container dimensions and is optimized for background effects and transitions. That is why the image may be cropped depending on the aspect ratio.
If you want to add content over an image and set the image position, you can adjust the Background Image Size option. If you want the complete image to be visible without cropping, set it to “Contain”.
You can also adjust the image positioning using the object Position option according to your requirements.
Best Regards
