I am encountering an issue while attempting to update the Woodmart theme from version 7.6.0 to 8.0.0. After successfully updating the theme in dev site, everything works fine. However, in live, the update causes significant layout shifts on the homepage. I’ve attached a screenshot of the homepage with the layout issues.

You can’t see them on my site now as I’ve performed a rollback. Before the rollback, I’ve already tried using the patcher but it still does not fix the issue.

I’m using the latest version of WordPress v6.7.1.

    Please advise, thanks

Reuploading the screenshot as it exceeded the file size limit

    Hello,

As we can see, you have old CSS files loaded from the cache. You must clear all the caches and CDN on your website to fix this issue for non-logged-in visitors.

    Kind Regards

Yes I have tried to clear the cache on all my caching plugins, web host, and on Cloudflare, before the rollback

    Hello,

In this case, please update the theme now and send us your admin access so we can check. Also, please keep all plugins that are not related to our theme temporarily turned off.

    Kind Regards

I tried again and its still breaking the site – even tried to turn off Cloudflare when performing the update. I cannot leave it broken as it is a live site. Please perform the update on your end. I’m providing the access below

In this case, you need to create a staging development copy of your website. There, you will be able to do such kind of experiments without any harm to your production website.

    Kind Regards

I managed to resolve the issue by updating Woodmart core first, followed by the theme. Everything is working as expected now.
