Madoo WebdesignParticipantHello,
On a new website of a client of ours, we’re using your theme together with the UNI CPO builder (https://builderius.io/cpo/) for ordering custom products (and product sizes).
Something was not working properly, so I contacted UNI CPO support. They have been testing and found out the probliem lies with the theme. Because on storefront theme it works fine. Deactivating “AJAX Add to cart” did not do the trick.
I would not like to switch to Storefront theme or another one, since WoodMart is just great and we always use it for webshops.
Could you assist in making it work?
Kindest regards,
AmandaJuly 12, 2024 at 4:27 pm #582999
Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
Could you please record a video of how it works with the Storefront theme? That would help us to understand the problem better and try to reproduce the issue with the WoodMart theme.
Kind Regards

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
We just checked this on your website and saw that the price changes when we change parameters.

Madoo WebdesignParticipantHi!
UNI CPO support tells this:
Hi Amanda,
I have checked how it works now. Please, review the screenshot. By inspecting async calls I can see that those parameters I choose in the form are actually being sent to the backend.
When woodmart theme is active it does not work like this. I remember I could change only one option maybe. Not sure which one was that. Certainly not input based ones.
Thanks! Please find the image in the uploaded files.
Looking forward to your response.
Kindest regards,
AmandaAttachments:

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
Yes, we see the problem on your website. When you change the input, it sends the AJAX request but doesn’t take input values. This happens with our theme only, but we don’t know why. We tried to understand how the plugin’s code works, but it was impossible because all the code was minified. It would help if you asked the plugin’s developers to debug the issue and find out why the data is not taken correctly. Otherwise, we are not able to fix this bug.
Kind Regards

Madoo WebdesignParticipantHi! This is what the plugin developer sent me:
I have made two screenshots of the code. The first one is to show how the script collects form fields:
The second one – just an example of iteration logic:
So, the script is using jQuery, accessing HTML elements and getting their values. Object “fields” includes all the data collected in the form of “key: value”, which are “field name: field value”. Then “fields” is being send to the backend.
That’s all.
The images for this are uploaded.
Does this help you?

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
Thank you for the clarification. The issue seems to be caused by our Sticky add to cart button. It creates duplicated fields and that is why it doesn’t work as expected. Please check how it works when this option is turned off.
Kind Regards

Madoo WebdesignParticipantHi,
No problem. I have rechecked it and I still see the issue appearing, despite the sticky add to cart being turned off… Am I doing something wrong here?
Looking forward to your reply.
Kindest regards,

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
We tested your site with our theme and we see that at the moment everything works the same https://monosnap.com/file/0GW7egjIRahqk0j6pJGtBfRlYLlNqx as with the default theme https://monosnap.com/file/vtCN60pSEAVuKsx2PyWkQsrNrXluuD
Therefore, could you make from your side the video what is not working for you?
Kind Regards

Madoo WebdesignParticipantHi, thank you so much for this. I swee what you see indeed and have asked the UNI CPO builders for their input again. I’ll be back on the line if needed. Thank you so much so far! Much appreciated.
