Woodmart without Slider Revolution Plugin

Why is it necessary to install the plugin »Slider Revolution«? I do not use the plugin on any site. It has too many security holes and bugs. Can I uninstall the plugin safely?

The Slider revolution plugin is necessary only to import the demo because most of the demos include the slider from Slider revolution. If you are not using it then you can deactivate it.
